As a Vising Scientist, collaborating with Prof. Alex Stankovic in the Grid Integration and System Mobility (GISMo) group at SLAC, Stanford University for modeling of power system components required for future inverter-dominated grids.

  • MoU signed between the University of Sannio (UniSannio) Benvento, Italy and VJTI, Mumbai.
  • S. R. Wagh coordinated and Dr. N. M. Singh conducted one week course on “Geometric Control Methods” at UniSannio, Benvento, Italy (19-23 June 2017).
  • S. R. Wagh delivered invited talk on “Power system stability” and Dr. N. M. Singh delivered invited talk, on “Underactuated Mechanical Systems”, on 26 June 2017 at the UniSannio, Benevento, Italy.
  • Mr. Kisan R. Sarda (M Tech Control Systems student) secured Italian Government Scholarships 2017-18 offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation (MAECI) for conducting collaborative research at UniSannio, Italy and later on joined for PhD at the UniSannio, Italy (2019).

Collaborated with Prof. Stankovic at Tufts University (Mar. 2015- Aug 2016) and presented research results at 7th NSF-SVM at Raleigh, NC State University, USA 27-29 May 2015 and 8th NSF-SVM at Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, USA 1-3 June 2016 with her research students.

  • Dr. S. K. Bhil, Faculty, Electrical Dept, VJTI visited EECE, UWA, for 3 month’s short-term visit to conduct collaborative research activities in 2013.
  • Two M Tech (Power Systems) students (Mr. Vinayak Kamble and Ms. Pragati Jambhulkar) went to EECE-UWA, Perth, Australia for one month short-term internship. (2014).
